The North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(6), and in developing and implementing its strategic action plan, will remain faithful to its commitment to the National Football League made during the bid process to involve thousands of North Texas families, companies and organizations in the planning and operation of the Super Bowl. Internship Guidelines: The Super Bowl XLV Host Committee is seeking hardworking and dedicated individuals that are recent graduates or currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs to work on a variety of programs and preparations for Super Bowl XLV. Interns will be required to keep flexible hours, are required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, will not be paid, but may receive class credit if necessary. After the application process is complete, the Host Committee will work with the selected applicants to determine an exact schedule. There are no internship opportunities available inside the stadium on game day. Tickets to Super Bowl XLV are NOT included with these internships. Internship Description: Interns will have the opportunity to work first-hand with the Host Committee on events, programs and meetings in preparation for Super Bowl XLV. Interns will also assist with administrative tasks, event set-up and other behind the scenes preparations. Applicants will be evaluated during the interview process and, if chosen, offered an internship with an area of focus at the discretion of Host Committee staff. Areas of concentration include operations, volunteer services, hospitality, business development, marketing, communication, community outreach and more. Super Bowl XLV Host Committee Internship Terms: Monday, October 26, 2009 to Friday, April 30, 2010 (6-month internship period) Monday, April 26, 2010 to Monday, February 21, 2011 (10-month internship period APPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications for the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee Internship Program should be submitted in full no later than Monday, October 5th 2009. Phone interviews are tentatively scheduled to take place between Monday, October 5th and Friday, October 9th. Depending on the outcome of phone-interviews, in-office interviews may also be conducted during the week of October 12th.
