| Description:
PaperCity magazine is looking for editorial interns for the Spring 2009 semester.
Candidates do not have to be journalism majors or writers, but it's best that you enjoy writing and have an interest and knowledge of Dallas culture, society and style.
Interns work directly with editors to help write copy and assist with various tasks around the office. Other duties include: attending PaperCity parties, contacting PR people about parties and events, gathering information about events and other Dallas happenings, running errands for editors, etc.
PaperCity is set to launch its Website (www.papercitymag.com) in late November/early December. Spring interns will have the opportunity to possibly contribute to the Website as well as gain valuable hands-on experience with the daily workings of an online magazine.
We ask our interns to devote 2-3 days per week (about 4-5 hours per day) to the job, but we are flexible. All internships are unpaid, but you can receive college credit if applicable.
PaperCity magazine is a leading, vibrant, 15-year-old publication with monthly editions in Dallas and Houston, focusing on fashion, style, home design and social coverage.
If interested, please send a copy of your resume to Christina Geyer, the Dallas Assistant Editor, at christina@papercitymag.com.
