Tour to Brazil with the Fort Worth Jazz Orchestra

In November 2012 I played tenor saxophone with the Fort Worth Jazz Orchestra (directed by Adonis Rose) on a tour in Brazil. We played concerts in Vitória, Campos do Jordão, São Paulo, Araxá, and Riberão Preto. Photos and videos from the tour are here.

Samba de roda in Bahia

This video provides a sample of samba de roda in the Recôncavo of Bahia. It was recorded by André Bueno and Fernanda Guimarães and edited by Cecília Engels. It was made with the support of Casa Mestre Ananias, a center for the study of Bahian culture in São Paulo.
