The U.S. House of Representatives is discussing a bill which would keep interest rates on Federal Stafford Loans for college students at 3.4 percent, instead of rising to a scheduled 6.8 percent on July 1.

Global Payments, a company that processes credit cards for Visa and MasterCard, announced Friday that an unauthorized intrusion into their servers may have comprised more than a million card numbers.
Mahadevan Gomathisankaran,
