Laurel Mallory
University of North Texas Laurel Mallory is an instructor for the Department of Rehabilitation, Social Work & Addictions. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the Behavioral Medicine Health Psychology Program at the University of North Texas. Her dissertation research is on the information needs of people with cancer. Her long-standing interest is on psychosocial variables affecting people with cancer with a focus on an integrative holistic approach to interactions and treatment within the medical environment. She has been a participant in research teams at the Arizona Complementary and Alternative Medicine Research Center, School of Medicine at the University of Arizona and the Human Energy Systems Laboratory at the University of Arizona. Laurel was also a member of the University of North Texas Sleep and Health Lab where she completed and published research on the comorbidity of insomnia with medical disorders. |
