Dr. Denise Catalano is an Assistant professor in the Department of Rehabilitation, Social Work & Addictions. She received both her master and doctorate degrees in Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr. Catalano is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and has worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Wisconsin. Her interests include: psychosocial aspects of disability; adaptation to disability, specifically among individuals with spinal cord injuries and individuals with traumatic brain injury; and professional issues related to the development of rehabilitation counseling students.
