Dr. D. Lynn Jackson is the Director of Field Instruction/Instructor in the Department of Rehabilitation, Social Work, & Addictions. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida with extensive experience in the field of healthcare, offender rehabilitation and in clinical social work. Dr. Jackson was recognized as the Distinguished Service Learning Faculty member at the University of North Texas in April 2006. She was also named Outstanding University Teaching Assistant at FSU in 2005 and College of Social Work Doctoral Teaching Assistant of the Year in 2004. She teaches Introduction to Social Work, Policies, Issues, and Programs in Social Welfare Policy and Practice II. She also teaches an elective course - The Politics of the Abortion Debate. Her research interests include Social welfare policy (reproductive rights, abortion policy & women's issues) Field education Current Projects: Texas NASW women's committee; NNAF; and the TEA fund.
