Department of Rehabilitation, Social
Work & Addictions This position is a nine-month non-tenure track appointment beginning Fall, 2008. Academic and Professional Qualifications: Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or related area; at least 5 years experience in rehabilitation required; doctorate degree preferred; certified rehabilitation counselor credential desired. Candidates with successful teaching and/or training experience preferred. Responsibilities: Temporary one-year lecturer appointment to teach the equivalent of four undergraduate and/or graduate classes per semester. Will assist with supervision of field experience and advise students. The University: The University of North Texas (UNT) is a student-centered, public research institution with over 34,000 students. UNT is located in the vibrant and repidly growing Denton-Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. It is the third largest institution in the state of Texas.
