UNT Neurotherapy Lab

The Department's Neurotherapy Lab is a direct client-service facility that serves as an on-campus training and research site for graduate students and provides clinical neurofeedback services to individuals from the community at large. Graduate coursework, professional workshops, and formal practicum and internship experiences in neurofeedback have been offered through the program since 1993. Over 500 individuals have been treated in the Lab which is supervised by its founding Director, Dr. Genie Bodenhamer-Davis.

Continuing Education

UNT is home to the Region VI CRP-RCEP, the department's regional continuing educator program for community rehabilitation programs. The project is one of 10 in the national funded by the Rehabilitation Services Administration. The Region VI CRP-RCEP serves providers in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas increasing the capacity of personnel to provide quality services that enhance the employment and independent living outcomes of individuals with disabilities.

The projects four organizational consultants design training programs, develop technical assistance models, and/or identify system supports to meet the needs of community rehabilitation personnel.

The Texas Guadalajara Partnership for Higher Education in Rehabilitation seeks to meet the unique needs of persons with disabilities in Mexico by offering training at the graduate level (master’s degree) to Mexican professionals and care providers in rehabilitation, special education, vocational job development/placement, and related disciplines.
