Description

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Studies prepares professionals to support consumers with disabilities in achieving their life's goals through actualizing each individual's full human potential. The broad focus of the program enhances students' career opportunities in various public and private human service settings in roles ranging from consumer advocacy, service delivery, and program coordination.

The degree requires 47 hours of general academics, 42 hours in the major and 35 hours of general electives.

Licensure

The BS in Rehabilitation Studies is unique in that many certifications are available to graduates at this level. Certifications in addition to your degree enhances your marketability and adds value to the services you have been trained to provide. Some examples include: Biofeedback Certification, Certified Case Manager, Certified Vocational Evaluator, and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor to name just a few.
