What's In It For The Students ?

Students who become part of this program receive a $5,500 educational stipend in their last semester bloc field placement at the Department of Family & Protective Services (DFPS).

Students sign a contractual agreement to work for DFPS for a period of eight (8) months after graduation. Should they not complete this work commitment, they must pay back the pro rata shaare of the amount.

  • Generous stipends given during the student's last semester in the program.

  • Excellent training and social work experience as Child Protective Services in the areas of investigation, foster care, and family preservation services.

  • Excellent opportunity for employment after graudation with competitive entry level salary.
