University Training to Prepare Applied Behavior Analysts to Competently Design and Supervise Interventions in Autism
On September 20th and 21st, The Department of Behavior Analysis at the University of North Texas is proudly sponsoring the first Applied Behavior Analysis Professional Training Summit. The inaugural meeting will include fourteen experts from around the world who will meet to discuss the training of applied behavior analysts specializing in autism intervention. Applied Behavior Analysis is recognized as a science and clinical approach that greatly improves the lives of children and adults with autism. The goal of the summit is to provide a structured forum for experts and stakeholders to review and discuss the training of behavioral autism professionals in higher education. The summit will result in a series of published supports for university faculty responsible for designing behavior analytic instructional curricula and experiences.
