Supported computers must have been purchased through UNT's Microcomputer Maintenance Shop and must have a UNT property number.
Please inform us of any settings, archives, or software that was not preloaded by the PACS Computing Center.

Our general access computer lab and tech support teams are dedicated to providing for the computing needs of the students, faculty and staff of the College of Public Affairs and Community Service and the School of Merchandising and Hospitality Management at the University of North Texas.

User accounts are for PACS/SMHM faculty and staff only. New account information may be obtained by presenting a valid photo i.d. in Chilton Hall 255 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. Allow 24 hours for processing of new accounts. Please review the UNT Computer Use Policy before submitting your request. The PACS/SMHM general access computer labs follow the policies decided and maintained by G.A.L.M.A.C., which is the governing body that sets forth the precedence for all University of North Texas academic computer labs. NO FOOD OR DRINKS:
No food or drinks are allowed in the labs. Please keep our labs clean and
safe by keeping food and drinks out of the labs. It is our desire to keep
the labs in good order for all students, staff, and faculty. Those who do
not follow these rules may be asked to leave the lab.
All software requests must be made at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. It is also recommended that all instructors test the software at least a week prior to the first scheduled class.
